My first playthrough took over 150 hours and I know I missed a good lot of stuff alot of quests some bosses alot of the underground areas. This game is massive and your not beating this quickly (ignoring the fact the current speed run record is 50 minutes)

So easily over a hundred hours of playing, leveling, getting your great runes, struggling and triumphing over bosses. I fell in love with the world, its story its characters I beat margot, Ramadan, the empress. The first eldin Lord himself, I go through the side stuff to find melenia. I beat the ring itself and a straight up eldritch being my reward depending on what quests I've done?

What fucking color of the tree do you want?

Keep it gold, make it grey and foggy, make it a muddy brown and toxic

Only 2 of the 6 endings are different animations

Burn it all down fully but boils down to basically red tree ending with your head being on fire.

Rena is the only ending that is actually different takes the world on a different path.

1 out of 6 is truly different the rest just recolors of the tree and same sit on throne ending cut to black.

It's the mass effect 3 endings all over again.

All the effort put into the game 150 hours for a single playthrough keeping in mind I've characters in other from games with that much hours too but they're usually ng+3 at that point.

The game is amazing really but these endings left a sour taste in my mouth. From once again their weaknesses seem to be 3 things, pvp duo bosses and endings to their stories. Cause you got to leave it vague enough for elden ring 2!

All that effort needs more payoff than a 30 second cuttscene. What does being a lord truly intake? How will overs take our rule? Will we have objecters? Challengers of our own to fend off?

In short your own imagination for your character will do more than the endings.

Only exception is Renna one. We summon her and make the world be free from the eldritch controll, she becomes our wife and we make a new future for the world. That to me is the only good ending we have in this game. I'll honestly recommend doing her questline anyway as for a side quest gives so much lore to the world anyway even if you don't want the moonlight great sword.

From needs to do what they did with dark souls 2. Dark souls 2 originally only had 1 ending. Then in the scholar edition or docs added another ending.

Elden ring for all the effort we put to get to the end we need a better ending that pick your trees color.

I know elden ring 2 will come but just do it anyway. Give us a ending that feels good to get not just a gut punch. The ending has really soured me and made what was a perfect game. Just a great game.
